Seven Broken and Fallen Trees in East Jakarta Removed

Personnel of East Jakarta City Parks and Cemetery Sub-agency assisted by PPSU, Monday (1/12), managed to evacuate seven broken and fallen trees in different locations.

Six trees fell and one was broken

Head Section of Green Line and Cemetery for the Sub-agency, Made Widhi Adnyana Surya Pratita said his side deployed 36 personnel to evacuate those broken and fallen trees caused by heavy rain accompanied with strong wind.

"Six trees fell and one was broken. We had evacuated all of them as of last night," he said, Tuesday (1/13).

The six fallen trees consisted of a Bintaro tree with a diameter of 30 centimeters on Jalan Perintis Kemerdekaan, Kayu Putih Urban Village, Pulo Gadung.

Then two 25-centimeter diameter cherry trees in the East Flood Canal (KBT) Pulo Gebang Alley, 50-centimeter diameter avocado trees in the area of ​​Kampung Dukuh Cemetery, Dukuh Urban Village.

Furthermore, the Kedondong tree with a diameter of 80 centimeters on Jalan Bintara Jaya, Pondok Kopi and the Kranji Tamarind tree with a diameter of 25 centimeters on Jalan Raya Bogor, Rambutan Urban Village.

Meanwhile, one broken Sengon tree with a diameter of 25 centimeters on Jalan Pulomas Timur 3A, Kayu Putih Urban Village.

"We deployed 36 personnel assisted by local urban villages PPSU personnel," he stated.
